These Halloween cake pops are showing off and honestly, let them.

Okay but why are Halloween cake pops this cute??

Like it’s literally cake on a stick.

And somehow it has more personality than half of us 😭

Some of these are adorable.

Some are mildly concerning.

The eyeballs??

Actually insane.

And just when you think you’ve picked a favorite…

There’s another one.

And another one.

That’s the problem with Halloween cake pop ideas.

You start looking for something easy to make.

And suddenly you’re emotionally attached to a tiny ghost holding a pumpkin.

Anyway.

I fear Halloween treats have peaked.

HALLOWEEN CAKE POPS

1. Pink Spider Cake Pops

Pink Spider Halloween Cake Pops

Pink Halloween people, this one’s yours.

Start with that glossy pink coating.

Before it fully sets, add a little trail of black, white and gold sprinkles.

Then park a creepy black spider right on top.

Pretty.

Slightly terrifying.

Exactly the combination we wanted.

2. Bloody Eyeball Cake Pops

Bloody Eyeball Cake Pops

Okay these are actually WILD.

The bloodshot veins.

That giant eyeball staring straight into your soul.

And the little puddle of red underneath really said we’re committing to this.

Gross enough to make people hesitate.

Good enough that they’re eating one anyway.

3. Halloween Character Cake Pops

Halloween Character Cake Pops

Can’t pick one Halloween character?

Don’t.

Make the whole crew.

Orange pumpkins.

Green monsters.

Purple creatures.

A mummy or two.

Little ghosts in between.

Use the same batch of cake pops and just switch up the coating + faces as you go.

Every pop gets its own costume.

4. Little Ghost Cake Pops

Little Boo Halloween Cake Pops

Stoppp they’re perched right on top!

Keep the actual pop super simple —

Smooth chocolate coating.

A few tiny silver sprinkles.

Then sit a little white ghost right on top.

That’s it.

The ghost does ALL the work.

5. Frankenstein Cake Pops

Frankenstein Cake Pops

The square shape is what sells these immediately.

Shape the cake first.

Dip the whole thing green.

Chocolate across the top becomes Frankenstein’s messy hair.

Then add the bolts, nose, eyes and stitched mouth.

And please don’t make every face perfect.

The wonky expressions are half the charm.

6. Witchy Bat Cake Pops

Witchy Bat Halloween Cake Pops

Oreo wings.

That’s the trick.

Split the cookies and tuck one half onto either side of a chocolate-coated pop.

Two giant candy eyes in front.

Mini witch hat on top.

Suddenly your cake pop has joined a coven.

Ridiculously clever for how simple the idea is.

7. Bow-Tied Ghost Cake Pops

Bow-Tied Ghost Halloween Cake Pops

Since when did ghosts have lashes this good??

Let the white coating fall wider around the bottom to create that little ghost-sheet shape.

Black details for the face.

Long lashes are non-negotiable here.

Finish with a tiny pink bow right under the stick.

Boo, but she has somewhere to be.

8. Bubbling Witch Cauldron Cake Pops

Bubbling Witch Cauldron Cake Pops

The secret is making them look like they’re overflowing.

Shape your cake pops into tiny cauldrons.

Go completely black on the outside.

Then fill the opening with bright green coating.

Pile green sugar pearls over the top while it’s still wet.

More bubbles.

More mess.

More suspicious-looking potion.

9. Jack-O’-Lantern Cake Pops

Jack-O’-Lantern Cake Pops

You really can’t mess these up.

Orange coating first.

Chocolate triangles turn into the eyes and nose.

Give each one a crooked little jack-o’-lantern grin.

Then drizzle thin white spirals over a few of them.

Same pumpkin theme.

Different personalities.

Instant little cake-pop patch.

10. Googly-Eyed Spider Cake Pops

Googly-Eyed Spider Halloween Cake Pops

I’m sorry but LOOK AT THEM.

The giant googly eyes.

The tiny pink cheeks.

Those two little teeth sticking out.

Even their legs are just dangling there being cute.

These might be the least threatening spiders I’ve ever seen.

I would make an entire army of them.

11. Poison Apple Cake Pops

Poison Apple Cake Pops

The red apple is only the beginning.

Shape the cake pop slightly like an apple and coat it bright red.

Add a tiny dark stem.

Now pour white coating over the top so it melts down into that creepy skull shape.

Cut out the eyes and little frown while you’re decorating.

Add a “Take a Bite” tag if you really want to be evil about it.

12. Little Witch Cake Pops

The hair is what makes these SO fun.

Pale green coating gives you the witchy face.

Add a simple smile.

Pop a pointed black witch hat on top.

Then let thin orange candy strands hang down underneath it like hair.

Stand them in a cauldron full of candy corn and suddenly you’ve made the entire display too.

13. Mummy Cake Pops

Mummy Halloween Cake Pops

Messy decorators, your time has come.

Cover the pop in white.

Add two candy eyes.

Then drizzle more white coating back and forth across the entire thing.

No neat lines.

No symmetry.

Just wrap that poor mummy until only its eyes are peeking through.

14. Witch’s Cauldron Cake Pops

Witch’s Cauldron Cake Pops

Okay this is a whole scene.

Make your monsters different colors.

Give them one eye, three eyes, sprinkle hair — whatever.

Stick a witch hat on one.

Then bury extra candy eyeballs in a sprinkle-filled cauldron underneath.

Tiny broom beside it.

Full Halloween laboratory achieved.

15. One-Eyed Monster Cake Pops

One-Eyed Monster Halloween Cake Pops

Possibly the easiest little monster of the bunch.

Bright orange coating.

One enormous candy eye.

Purple sprinkles dumped across the top for hair.

Done.

Seriously.

He doesn’t even need a mouth.

That blank one-eyed stare is the entire personality.

16. Witch’s Brew Cauldron Cake Pops

Witch’s Brew Cauldron Cake Pops

Now THIS is where you use all the leftover Halloween candy.

Shape the cake into tiny pots and coat them in chocolate.

Build a little rim around the top.

Then absolutely stuff them.

Sprinkles.

Gummy worms.

Candy pieces.

Whatever looks like it shouldn’t be bubbling inside a witch’s cauldron belongs in there.

17. Trick-or-Treat Ghost Cake Pops

 Trick-or-Treat Ghost halloween Cake Pops

The pumpkin bucket is the whole moment.

Dip the pop in white and let some coating settle around the bottom for that floaty ghost shape.

Three dark dots make the face.

Black-and-white striped sticks make them instantly more Halloween.

Then attach a tiny pumpkin pail to the side.

He’s ready.

Take him trick-or-treating.

18. Graveyard Cake Pops

Graveyard Cake Pops

Time to make cake pops look like they’ve been dug out of the ground.

Chocolate coating gives you the base.

Press crushed cookies around it for dirt.

Stick a tiny RIP tombstone straight into the top.

Scatter little candy bones and skulls wherever they’ll stay.

Then serve the whole batch over MORE cookie dirt.

Commit to the cemetery.

19. Witch Hat Cake Pops

Witch Hat Cake Pops

No round cake pops this time.

Turn the cake pop upside down.

Coat it in dark chocolate.

Give it a wide chocolate brim.

Tiny pumpkin candy right at the front.

Boom.

A whole witch hat.

20. Halloween Character Cake Pops

Wait I LOVE the mix here.

Orange coating?

Make a pumpkin.

White?

Skeleton.

Chocolate?

Cover it in Halloween sprinkles.

Got tiny bows, bats, candy eyes or leftover decorations?

Throw those in too.

No matching required.

That’s literally the fun of this tray.

21. Sprinkle Monster Cake Pops

Sprinkle Monster halloween Cake Pops

OHH the drippy ones got me.

Orange coating.

Chocolate dripping everywhere.

Sprinkles piled on top.

Then those random little eyeballs peeking through the mess.

Cute chaos on a stick.

Exactly how the last Halloween cake pop should go out.

Consider your Halloween cake pops officially handled.
